Hey everyone..

This isn't a silly question.. well, I hope it isn't lol. But.. I have this real problem talking to men. I mean if I call them 'mate' it sounds odd.. If I say 'babe'/'darling' etc.. they take it as a come on. So what to do?
I thought here would be an interesting place to ask
